Hi! I'm Yoli.

For me, illustrating is a way of building visual refuges and giving life to worlds where characters can express emotion, curiosity and tenderness. I firmly believe in the power of children's illustration to connect with the earliest stages of reading and to accompany children in their own discoveries.

My aim with every project is to create a visual universe where each color, line and detail tells part of the story and sparks the imagination of whoever opens the book.

Step by step, in context.

I like to research and document each idea thoroughly before drawing, making sure the visual concept naturally matches the children's reading stage.

Attention to detail.

I enjoy looking after the book's architecture from start to finish, preparing the layout and files so they reach the printer clean and trouble-free.

A shared process.

I believe in listening and in an open exchange of ideas with authors and publishers; teamwork is the best way to polish every project.
